- 3 cups coconut water
- 2 brown-skinned coconuts cut into small pieces
Method of preparation
Mix all ingredients in a blender. Then mix the mixture and place the liquid part in a dark bottle for 48 hours. After this period leave the bottle in a cool environment, without light or sun, at an average temperature of 25ºC for another 6 hours.
After this time the bottle should be placed in the refrigerator standing for another 3 hours. The coconut oil will solidify and, to remove it, you must cut the plastic bottle in the line where the water was separated from the oil, taking advantage of only the oil, which must be transferred to another container with a lid.
Coconut oil is ready for use when it is liquid at a temperature above 27 ° C. It does not need to be stored in the refrigerator and has a shelf life of 2 years.
