Lamisil is an antifungal medicine from the Novartis laboratory, whose active principle is Terbinafine.
Indications
Toenail fungus, athlete's foot, cutaneous candidiasis, infections caused by Tinea capitis, Tinea corporis and Tinea cruris.
Contraindications
Pregnancy, risk B, breastfeeding and children under 2 years of age.
Adverse effects
Intestinal changes such as feeling full stomach, nausea, abdominal pain, diarrhea, local itching, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, epidermal-toxic necrolysis.
Mode of Use
There are 2 ways to use Lamisil, in pill form and in cream form, and the recommended dose of Lamisil varies according to age and weight.
Children : 1/2 tablet daily, if 40kg, for 4 weeks or until symptoms persist.
Adults : 2 tablets daily until curing.
Ointment: Pass the ointment twice a day, and cover with gauze to protect, especially at night.
