How to take
Propolis Extract should be used as needed and its mode of use depends on the problem to be treated:
- Regeneration of the tissues, healing and pimples : apply 1 or 2 drops on the wound whenever you change the dressing and apply on the spine 4 to 5 times a day.
- Respiratory problems : put a few drops of propolis extract in boiled water and make inhalations with water vapor.
- Sore throat : In a cup of water, add 4 to 5 drops of propolis extract and use to gargle the throat. This solution can be used several times a day, as needed.
- Irritant cough or with phlegm, flu, sinusitis, tonsillitis : put 3 to 4 drops of extract to the tea or add 1 or 2 drops to 1 tablespoon of honey. Take several times a day, whenever necessary.
Propolis Extract may be used in children under the advice of a pediatrician, but in these cases it is only advisable to use non-alcohol extracts, since most extracts may contain alcohol.
Side effects
Some of the side effects of the Propolis Extract may include allergic reactions to Propolis, such as swelling, redness, itching or hives on the skin.
Therefore, in order to avoid serious reactions to allergy, it is recommended to perform a sensitivity test before using the extract, for which it is only necessary to drip 2 drops of the extract on the forearm and wait between 20 to 30 minutes and check for itching or redness on the skin. Contraindications
