During winter it is common for the skin to become more dry. This happens due to the decrease of the humidity present in the air both outside and inside the house, which leaves the skin dry, rough, irritated and with a slight itchy sensation.
In addition, the use of warmer water in the bath and more layers of clothing during the day also help to irritate and dry the skin more, leaving it very rested.
So to keep your skin well moisturized and to avoid winter changes it is very important to follow some tips like:
- Avoid using bushings during the bath;
- Take warm water bath, not too hot;
- Put sunscreen, especially on the face, every day before leaving home;
- Ingest about 2 liters of water per day;
- Increase consumption of water-rich fruits such as watermelon, melon or orange, for example;
- Wear lip balm every day and strengthen when needed;
- Avoid using bar soap, preferring liquid soap;
- Cleanse the face and apply moisturizer every day before bed;
- Choose moisturizing creams based on hydroxyethyl urea, with vitamin C, hyaluronic acid or with trace elements;
- For oily skin, opt for oil-free moisturizers, without oil;
- Apply moisturizing cream to your feet before bed and then put on socks.
This care avoids the removal of the natural fat layer from the skin, remove impurities accumulated during the day, helping to clear the pores, protect the skin from the cold and moisturize the skin, giving it softness and elasticity.
