Method of preparation
Put some witch hazel leaves in a pan along with water, and bring to a boil. Coe and, when cool, place in a bowl and take a shower for 20 minutes daily.
Witch Compresses

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons of chopped hamamélis leaves;
- 30 ml of mineral oil;
- 1 gauze clean.
Method of preparation
For compresses, simply knead some witch hazel leaves with a pestle and then add the mineral oil a little, until it becomes a more uniform mixture. The gauze should be applied together with the leaves in the region and allowed to act for 30 minutes.
Pain and swelling usually subside and hemorrhoids disappear within a period of four to six days, but if symptoms persist a doctor should be consulted.
