Willow tea, a plant with medicinal characteristics, acts on the body as a natural aspirin because it contains salicin which is the active principle of the conventional aspirins purchased from the pharmacy.
Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon dehydrated husk from willow stem
- 1 cup (150 ml) of water
Method of preparation
Put the willow bark into a cup and cover with the boiling water and cover the cup with the saucer for about 20 minutes. This recipe can be repeated 2 or 3 times a day.
Do not add honey to this tea as it cuts off the salicin effect.
Dehydrated willow bark can be found easily in stores that specialize in marketing plants and medicinal herbs, but should not be used by people with allergy to aspirin from the pharmacy, pregnant women, people with platelet disorders or with gastric problems. Its contraindications and side effects are the same, as they have the same active principle.
