There are natural solutions such as passion fruit, chamomile, lavender or St. John's Wort that can be used to improve symptoms of depression and supplement therapy or a treatment prescribed by the doctor.
Some examples of natural antidepressants are:
1. Fruit juice
A great natural antidepressant to improve mood, reduce stress, relieve anxiety and ward off sad thoughts is to make the combination of some therapeutic herbs that, when combined, contain properties that help fight depression and anxiety.
Ingredients
- 1/2 tablespoon of passion fruit leaves;
- 1/2 tablespoon of chamomile flowers;
- 1/2 tablespoon lemon leaves;
- 1 cup boiling water;
- 1/3 cup of natural grape juice;

Method of preparation

2. Aromatherapy Bath

- 10 drops lavender essential oil;
- 5 drops of bergamot essential oil.
Method of preparation
Fill a tub with warm water and put the essential oils inside and relax in the soaking bath for about 20 minutes.
3. Capsules and St. John's wort tea
Another natural remedy that may help depression is St John's wort. This medicinal plant exists in capsules, for sale in pharmacies or one can also drink the tea.
Although it is a natural remedy, it should not be used without first talking to the doctor and informing you about all the medicines you are taking.
Ingredients
- 2 teaspoons of St John's wort flowers;
- 500 mL of boiling water.
Method of preparation
Put two teaspoons of St. John's wort flowers in 500 ml of boiling water and allow to stand for 5 minutes. You should then strain and drink two cups a day after meals.
