Some great home remedies for ringworm are the salvia and the leaves of the cassava because they have properties that help to combat ringworm and to heal the skin. However, aloe vera and the herbal blend is also a good home remedy to combat naturally occurring mycosis of the skin.
Ringworm is a skin disease caused by fungal growth and the drier the region is, the faster recovery will be. These home remedies are a great help, but if there is no improvement of symptoms in about 10 days, you should go to the doctor to check the need to use drugs from the pharmacy.
1. Sage tea
A good home remedy for ringworm of skin is to put a salve compress in the region because it has healing properties that help in recovering from the injury.
Ingredients
- 2 drops of sage essential oil
Method of preparation
Wet a gauze or a piece of cotton with the essential oil of salvia and pass throughout the region with ringworm. Next, cover with a clean cloth and let it act on the skin.
2. Tea from cassava
A good home remedy for ringworm of skin is to clean the place with a tea prepared with the leaves of cassava.
Ingredients
- 3 leaves of the cassava
- 250ml of boiling water
Method of preparation
Add chopped applesauce leaves to boiling water, cover and let stand for 10 minutes. Then strain and soak a small piece of cotton in this tea and apply to the affected area about 3 times a day after bath until the ringworm disappears.
After tea it is normal for the skin to become slightly dry, so it is recommended to moisturize it with a little bit of almond oil afterwards. Even after the ringworm has subsided, continue tea for an additional 2 days to ensure successful treatment.
Attention: The tea of the leaves of apipim is toxic and therefore it can not be ingesting, being only indicated for external use.
3. Homemade aloe vera and malaleuca spray
An excellent home remedy for athlete's foot is the mixture of slug and malaleuca, because these plants have antifungal properties that help fight fungi and reduce the symptoms of athlete's foot.
Ingredients
- 125 ml of slug juice
- ½ teaspoon malaleuca essential oil
Method of preparation
Add the ingredients until you get a homogenous mixture and then put in a steamer jar. Shake well before use and apply twice a day on the lesions using the spray for about 1 month.
4. Herbal tea
The infusion prepared with herb treats mycosis because it has antifungal properties that prevent the proliferation of fungi.
Ingredients
- 1 handful of rosemary
- 1 handful of rue
- 1 handful of eucalyptus
- 1 handful of walnut leaves
- 1 handful of lavender
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 liter of water
Method of preparation
Add all the herbs mentioned above and boil them for 5 minutes.
Expect to soften and coagulate by washing the affected area at the same time or applying compresses to the affected regions. If it is in the hands or feet, it is recommended to soak the affected area in the infusion for 20 minutes.
After cleaning the place it is recommended to apply the cream or ointment recommended by the dermatologist.
