Zaditen is an antiallergic used in the prevention of asthma, bronchitis and rhinitis and in the treatment of conjunctivitis.
This medicine can be found in pharmacies under the names Zaditen SRO, Zaditen eye drops, Asmalergin, Asmax, Asmen, Zetitec and can be used orally or for ocular application.

Indications
The use of Zaditen is indicated for the prevention of asthma, allergic bronchitis, allergic skin reaction, rhinitis and conjunctivitis.
Mode of Use
Zaditen can be used in syrup, tablets, syrup and eye drops depending on the type of allergy. Generally, your doctor recommends:
- Capsules: 1 to 2 mg twice a day for adults and for children between 6 months and 3 years 0.5 mg, 2 times a day and over 3 years: 1 mg, 2 times a day;
- Syrup: children between 6 months and 3 years: 0.25 ml Zaditen 0.2 mg / ml, syrup (0.05 mg), per kg body weight twice daily, morning and evening and children over 3 years: 5 ml (one cup-measure) of syrup or 1 capsule twice daily, with morning and evening meal;
- Eye drops: 1 or 2 drops in the conjunctival sac, 2 to 4 times a day for adults and for children over 3 years of age 1 or 2 drops (0.25 mg) in the conjunctival sac, 2 to 4 times a day.
Side effects
Some side effects include, irritability, difficulty falling asleep and nervousness.
Contraindications
The use of Zaditen is contraindicated by pregnancy, breast-feeding, when there is a decrease in liver function or a history of prolonged QT interval.
