Eylia is the name of the medicine used for the treatment of age-related ocular degeneration, whose active principle is aflibercept.
It is a Bayer drug sold as an injectable solution.

Side effects of Eylia
The most frequent are: cataract, red eyes caused by bleeding of small blood vessels in the outermost layers of the eye, pain in the eye, retinal displacement, increased pressure inside the eye, blurred vision, swelling of the eyelids, increased tear production, eye cramps, allergic reactions in the whole body, infection or inflammation inside the eye.
Contraindications of Eylia
Allergy to aflibercepte or any of the other components of Eylia, inflamed eye, infection inside or outside the eye.
How to use Eylia
It is used for injection into the eye. It is started with a monthly injection for three consecutive months followed by an injection every 2 months.
The injection should be applied only by the specialist doctor.
