Simulect is an immunosuppressive drug that has as active substance Basiliximab.
This injectable drug is indicated for allograft of the kidneys among individuals who are genetically different.

Constipation; nausea; diarrhea; abdominal pain; vomiting; indigestion; increased potassium in the blood; increased blood glucose; increased uric acid in the blood; decreased phosphate in the blood; Headache; tremor; pain; fever; insomnia; urinary tract infection; edema; increased pressure; anemia; viral infection; difficulty breathing; infection in the respiratory tract; acne.
Contraindications of Simulect
Pregnancy risk B; women in the lactation phase; Hipersensibility to any of the formula's components.
How to use Simulect (Dosage)
Injectable Use
Adults
- 2 doses of 20 mg, the first dose about 2 hours before transplantation and the second dose 4 days after transplantation.
