Simulect

Simulect is an immunosuppressive drug that has as active substance Basiliximab.

This injectable drug is indicated for allograft of the kidneys among individuals who are genetically different.

Simulect Indications (For what it is)

Allotransplantation of kidneys.

Side effects of Simulect

Constipation; nausea; diarrhea; abdominal pain; vomiting; indigestion; increased potassium in the blood; increased blood glucose; increased uric acid in the blood; decreased phosphate in the blood; Headache; tremor; pain; fever; insomnia; urinary tract infection; edema; increased pressure; anemia; viral infection; difficulty breathing; infection in the respiratory tract; acne.

Contraindications of Simulect

Pregnancy risk B; women in the lactation phase; Hipersensibility to any of the formula's components.

How to use Simulect (Dosage)

Injectable Use

Adults

• 2 doses of 20 mg, the first dose about 2 hours before transplantation and the second dose 4 days after transplantation.
