How to use Hytrin
Oral use
Adults
- High blood pressure: Initiate treatment with 1 mg single dose, preferably at bedtime. The maintenance dose should be adjusted according to the patient's response, but should remain between 1 and 5 mg once daily or divided into 2 intakes.
- Benign prostatic hypertrophy: Begin treatment with 1 mg single dose, preferably at bedtime. The maintenance dose should be adjusted according to the patient's response, but should remain between 5 and 10 mg once daily.
