Ingredients for tamarind jam
- 500 g of tamarind
- 3 glasses of water
- 5 cups brown sugar
Method of preparation
Peel the tamarinds and do not remove the lumps, leaving to soak in a bowl with 3 glasses of water for 4 hours. Then bring this mixture to the fire, in a pan, adding the sugar, stirring well. Remove from heat, allow to cool and refrigerate.
