How to properly exfoliate
To exfoliate properly and to have the maximum possible benefits you need:
- Take care of the skin type, since there are several types of exfoliating, each one being more suitable for a skin type;
- Do not exfoliate after epilation, as the skin becomes more sensitive, which can lead to minor skin lesions or irritation;
- After the exfoliation, use a moisturizer, since with the removal of the dead cells the skin can become a little dry;
- Perform exfoliation on the face every 15 days and, in the case of knees and elbows, for example, can be done weekly 1 to 2 times a week;
- Perform the exfoliation in circular movements and performing a little pressure.
After exfoliation, it is important to remove the entire exfoliant with warm water or a heated towel and moisturize the skin.
