How to use Valdecoxib
Injectable Use
Adults
- Moderate to severe pain : Administer 40 mg intramuscularly or intravenously.
- Prevention of surgical pain: Administer 40 mg, preferably intravenously, 30 to 45 minutes before the surgical procedure. Treatment may need to be continued postoperatively.
Dosage limits for adults : 80 mg per day.
