A good headache massage involves pressing lightly with circular movements some strategic points of the head, such as the temples, the nape and the top of the head.
To start you should loosen your hair and breathe deeply, slowly, for about 2 minutes, trying to relax a bit. Next, you should do the following massage, following the 3 steps:
1. Circulate the temples
You should massage for at least 1 minute the tempers that is the lateral region of the forehead, using the palm of the hands or the tips of the fingers making circles.
2. Perform circular movements at the nape
To massage the nape of the neck, apply a slight pressure with your fingertips for at least 2 minutes.
3. Massage the top of the head
The top region of the head should be massaged with circular motions that are becoming slower and slower for about 3 minutes using the fingertips. Finally, to finish the massage you should pull the root of the hair gently for 2 to 3 minutes.
These steps help to release a lot of tension and are a great way to end the headache naturally without having to resort to taking medications.
