A good home remedy for terçol, scientifically called a hordeolum, is to place compresses of warm water or chamomile tea on the affected eye because this decreases pain and facilitates the recovery of inflamed tissues.
Ingredients
- 1 gauze clean
- 1 cup boiling water
- 1 teaspoon of chamomile
Method of preparation
Prepare the chamomile tea by placing the chamomile leaves in a cup and cover with boiling water. Tape, deoxy cool, and when it is warm, soak the gauze in this tea, squeeze it to remove the excess, and apply the gauze on the eye with twist, until cool. After cold, put on a new warm compress.
Repeat this procedure for at least 30 minutes, twice a day.
