Dorzolamide hydrochloride is the active principle of an eye drop sold as Cosopt which is indicated in diseases that increase pressure within the eye.
Indications
Open-angle glaucoma, pseudo-exfoliative, and other open angle glaucoma.
Contraindications
Pregnancy: risk C, bronchial asthma, COPD, heart problems, cardiogenic shock, allergy to any of the components of the formula.
Adverse effects
Burning and sharp eye pain, altered taste, corneal erosion, blurred vision, constant watering, shortness of breath, respiratory failure, contact dermatitis, bradycardia.
How to use
1 drop of cosopt in each eye 2 times a day.
