What is it for
Koide D is indicated for the adjuvant treatment of the following allergic diseases:
- Respiratory system, such as severe bronchial asthma and allergic rhinitis;
- Skin allergic conditions such as atopic dermatitis, contact dermatitis, drug reactions and serum sickness;
- Allergic eye conditions, such as keratitis, non-granulomatous iritis, chorioretinitis, iridocyclitis, choroiditis, conjunctivitis and uveitis.

How to use
The dosage should be determined by the doctor because it varies according to the problem to be treated, the age of the person and their response to treatment. However, the dose recommended by the manufacturer is as follows:
1. Adults and children over 12 years old
The recommended starting dose is 5 to 10 mL, 2 to 4 times daily, which should not exceed 40 mL of syrup in a 24-hour period.
2. Children aged 6 to 12 years
The recommended initial dose is 2.5 mL, 3 to 4 times daily and should not exceed 20 mL of syrup in a 24-hour period.
3. Children from 2 to 6 years old
The recommended initial dose is 1.25 to 2.5 mL, 3 times daily, and the dose should not exceed 10 mL of syrups within 24 hours.
Koide D should not be used in children under 2 years of age.
Who should not use
Koide D should not be used by people who have systemic fungal infection, in preterm and newborns, people who are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitor therapy and who are hypersensitive to any of the components of the drug or to drugs with a similar composition .
In addition, this remedy should also not be used by diabetics because it contains sugar, neither during pregnancy and breastfeeding, unless it is indicated by the doctor.
Possible side effects
The most common side effects that can occur with Koide D treatment are gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, electrolyte, dermatological, neurological, endocrine, ophthalmic, metabolic and psychiatric disorders.
