Apraz is a tranquilizer medicine that has the active substance Aprazolam.
This oral medication is used for the treatment of psychological disorders such as anxiety, decreasing symptoms such as fear, tension and apprehension.
Despite being effective the Apraz acts on the central nervous system and can cause side effects that harm the individual in their daily activities.
Indications of Apraz
Anxiety; states of anxiety with other manifestations such as alcohol abstinence; irritability; seizure; fear; tension; uneasiness; difficulties of concentration; insomnia; agitation; panic disorders.
Side Effects of Apraz
Somnolence; blurred vision; disturbances in motor coordination; difficulty concentrating; agitation; hallucinations; mental confusion; itching; retention or increase of urinary frequency; gastrointestinal symptoms (vomiting, nausea, stomach pain, diarrhea).
Contraindications of Apraz
Pregnant or lactating women; hypersensitive to any component of the formula.
How to use Apraz
Oral use
Adults
- Anxiety: Administer 0.25 to 0.5 mg of Apraz, 3 times daily.
- Panic Disorders: Administer 0.5 mg of Apraz before bed.
Doses used in Apraz treatments depend on the symptoms presented by the patient, the dose may be increased according to the medical recommendation.
