The Moroccan brush is a definitive way to straighten hair containing keratin, collagen and formaldehyde. It is sold as a kit consisting of shampoo, smoothing cream, neutralizing and argan oil.
At the time of using the Moroccan brush, the individual should read the label and confirm that it does not have more than 0, 2% formalin in its composition. For, according to Anvisa, the formalin comes into contact with the heat of the hair dryer and turns into vapor, which can be absorbed by the skin or inspired, causing health problems.
The duration of Moroccan brushing depends on the type of hair and its growth time and should be retouched at the root when hair grows, usually every 3 months.
