Taxotere is a medicine that has as its active ingredient Docetaxel.
This medicine is used by injection and acts to prevent the spread of cancer cells in the body. This medicine should only be used in case of failure of the previous chemotherapy treatment.

Side Effects of Taxotere
Infections; fever; anemia; redness on the skin; skin allergies with or without pruritus; thoracic tension; backache; dyspnoea; chills; fluid retention; weight gain; nausea; vomiting; diarrhea; Low pressure; allergy at the injection site.
Contraindications of Taxotere
Pregnancy risk D; women in the lactation phase; Liver insufficiency individuals; hypersensitivity to Taxotere; children under 16 years of age.
How to use Taxotere
Injectable Use
Adults
- Administer 100 mg by intravenous infusion over 1 hour, every 3 weeks.
Patients should only use this drug after receiving oral corticosteroid (16 mg / day Dexamethasone for 5 days).
