Nafazoline

Nafazoline is the active ingredient of a drug that is sold commercially under the name Nitrilene.

This nasal medication acts as a decongestant, facilitating the passage of air from the nasal passages to the lungs, thus improving the breathing of those who suffer from nasal congestion.

The effect of Nitrilene is rapid, is evident about 5 minutes after its administration and lasts in average of 6 hours.

Indications of Nafazolin

Colds and infections of the nasal mucosa; nasal congestion.

Side Effects of Nafazoline

Headache; nausea; local irritation; light sensation of needles; blurred vision.

Contraindications of Nafazolin

Pregnancy risk C; women in the lactation phase; individuals with glaucoma; children under 12; after oro-nasal surgery with exposure of the dura mater; hypersensitivity to the product.

How to Use Nafazoline

Nasal Use

Adults and Children over 12 years

• Drip one drop of the Nitrilene solution into each nostril and then inhale the air. This procedure should be repeated 4 times a day for a maximum of 3 to 5 days.
