Understand the mechanism of action of buspirone
Through animal studies, it is known that buspirone interacts with the serotonin, norepinephrine, acetylcholine and dopamine systems of the brain. This drug enhances the activity of specific noradrenergic and dopaminergic pathways and reduces the activity of serotonin and acetylcholine.
How to use
The dosage of Buspirone should be determined according to your doctor's advice; however, the recommended starting dose is 3 tablets of 5 mg per day, which may be increased but not to exceed 60 mg per day.
Buspirone should be taken at mealtime to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
Side effects
