Alteration in retinal pigmentation; anemia; change in electroencephalogram; cardiac arrhythmia; angina; increased intraocular pressure; weight gain; increased appetite; breast enlargement (in both sexes); increased or decreased heart rate; tiredness; constipation; dry mouth; diarrhea; dilation of the pupils; Headache; decreased sexual desire; allergy to the skin; fever; urticaria; edema; yellowing of the skin or eyes; insomnia; excessive menstruation; inhibition of ejaculation; muscular necrosis; cardiac arrest; pressure fall; urinary retention; sensitivity to light; inability to remain seated; torticollis; difficulties to move; sedation; tremors; somnolence.
Contraindications of Amplictil
Pregnant or lactating women; heart disease; brain or nervous system damage; children under 8 months of age; Hipersensibility to any of the formula's components.
How to use Amplictil
Oral use
Adults
- Psychoses : Administer 30 to 75 mg Amplictil daily, the dose can be divided into 4 doses. If necessary increase the dose 2 times a week, in 20 to 50 mg, until the symptoms are controlled.
- Nausea and vomiting : Administer 10-25 mg of Amplictil every 4 to 6 hours as needed.
Children
- Psychoses, nausea and vomiting: Administer 0.55 mg Amplictil per kg body weight every 4 to 6 hours.
