Magnesium Bisura is a medicine used to decrease stomach acid that can be found in any pharmacy or drugstore. This medicine based on bismuth carbonate, magnesium carbonate, calcium carbonate and sodium bicarbonate can be found in the form of tablets or effervescent powder.
Indications
Relief from heartburn and stomach pain.
Contraindications
Pregnancy; breast-feeding; patients with hypersensitivity to any component of the formula; patients with hepatic cirrhosis; hypertension.
Adverse effects
Diarrhea, constipation, gas and gastric discomfort.
How to use
- Tablets: Chew 1 or 2 tablets according to the patient's need, no water is required. Repeat every hour if symptoms persist but do not exceed 10 lozenges per day.
- Effervescent powder: The contents of the sachet (5 g) must be dissolved in water.
