Penicillin, also known as Benzetacil, is an antibiotic that can be given by injection and in some cases can be taken orally. Oral benzetacil is most indicated for non-serious infections and should be taken every 6 hours after meals.
It should never be indicated in the most serious cases, because when it is taken, the tablet will go through the whole digestive and will undergo some changes, decreasing its effect. In this case, the injection that will take the drug directly into the bloodstream is preferable.
