Pen-ve-oral is a medicine derived from penicillin in the form of tablets containing potassium phenoxymethylpenicillin, and it can be used as an alternative to the use of Penicillin injection, known to cause a lot of pain. However even injections of Benzetacil no longer need to cause as much pain as they can be diluted with an anesthetic called Xylocaine, when allowed by the doctor.
