A great anti-inflammatory home remedy is mullein tea, as this medicinal plant contains anti-inflammatory and soothing substances, which help reduce inflammation.
This home remedy can be used to help treat inflammation of the throat, skin irritations that cause swelling and redness of the skin, airway inflammations such as bronchitis or laryngitis, gastritis, which is inflammation of the stomach and in diarrhea when mucosa of the intestine may be inflamed.
If the inflammation persists for more than 48 hours, it is important that the person consult a doctor because it may be necessary to take anti-inflammatory drugs.
Ingredients
- 2 cups boiling water
- 4 teaspoons of mullein flowers
Method of preparation
Add the ingredients and let stand for about 10 minutes. Then strain and drink about 3 cups of tea a day.
In case of irritations in the skin, one must wet a compress in the mullet tea and apply directly in the place that is inflamed and red, being careful to wait to be warm, not to burn the skin.
