As a rash ointment such as Hipogloss, for example, it is used in the treatment of rash as it promotes scarring of the skin that is reddish, hot, sore or with bubbles due to the prolonged contact of the baby's skin with urine and feces
Other ointments for infant rash include:
- Dermodex;
- Bepantol which is widely used in the strong industry;
- Hypodermis;
- Weleda babycreme marigold;
- Nystatin + Laboratory Zinc Oxide Medley;
- Desitin which is an ointment for rash imported from the USA;
- A + D Zinc Oxide Cream which is an ointment for American baking;
- Balmex which is another ointment imported from the United States.
These ointments should only be used when the baby or newborn has some rash on the diaper region. To learn how to identify baby rash and other ways to treat it see: How to take care of baby's rash.
How to pass the ointment to rash
The roasting ointments should be applied by placing the equivalent of 1 grain of pea on the tip of the finger and passing in the reddish area, forming a white layer. While the baby still has the rash, you should clean the ointment that has been placed before and replace some ointment whenever you change the diaper.
Ointments to prevent plaque
Ointments to prevent baby rash are different from rash ointments and should only be used when the baby has not yet had a rash to prevent it from appearing.
Some examples of these ointments are the Xuxinha Class Preventive Cream of Grains, the Mustela Vitaminized Blemish Cream and the Monica Class Preventive Cream for Baking, which should be applied daily in each diaper change.
In addition to these ointments to prevent rash, you should change the diaper whenever the baby pees and poop, not letting the skin stay in contact with these substances for more than 10 minutes.
