Artemeter is a medicine known commercially as Paluther.
This medicine is for injection, used in the treatment against malaria. 20 to 40 hours after Artemeter administration, it is possible to observe a decrease in fever, a characteristic symptom of malaria, but the absence of parasites that cause the disease can only be observed after 2 or 4 days.

Artemeter side effects
Increase in body temperature for 1 to 3 days after the end of the treatment and after a decrease in the febrile malaria symptom; stomach ache; inflammation at the injection site; lack of appetite; nausea; vomiting.
Contraindications of Artemeter
Pregnant or lactating women.
How to use Artemeter
Injectable Use
Adults
- The total dose of the treatment is 480 mg of Artemeter, which can be administered between 3 and 5 days.
Children
- The total dose of the treatment is 9.6 mg Artemeter per kg of body weight, which can be administered between 3 and 5 days.
