Simbrinza is a medicine for glaucoma or ocular hypertension in the form of eye drops.
Brinzolamide or brimonidine tartrate are the main component of the Simbrinza drug in the Novartis laboratory, which is used to reduce elevated intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.
Indications of Simbrinza
Glaucoma (open angle or hypertension).
Contraindications of Simbrinza
Patients with hypersensitivity to brinzolamide / brimonidine tartrate or to any component of the Simbrinza formula.
It is contraindicated for newborns and children (under 2 years of age).
Simbrinza side effects
Common adverse reactions occurring in about 3 to 5% of patients include blurred vision, eye irritation, dysgeusia (bad taste), dry mouth, ocular allergy.
How to use Simbrinza (Dosage)
In the affected eye, or in the affected eyes, three times a day. Shake well before use.
