An excellent home remedy for weak and brittle nails is to apply, before any nail polish, a nail-strengthening home base. See the recipe:
Ingredients
- 1 clove
- 1/2 clove garlic well kneaded
- 1 colorless base
Method of preparation
Place the clove and garlic clove well roasted into the colorless base and shake well. Let stand for a few hours and then apply 1 layer of this strengthening base on your nails daily for 7 consecutive days, layering over the other. After the 3rd day, and consequently the 3rd layer, you can remove this enamel and start from the beginning to avoid getting a very thick layer.
Clove and garlic have antimicrobial properties, and in addition, they strengthen the nails.
This homemade strengthening foundation can be used every time you paint your nails, and thanks to the clove of India, the smell of garlic will not remain on the nails after the application of the enamel.
