Chicken Recipe with Okra
Ingredients:
- 1 whole chicken, about 1.5 kg
- 200 g of okra
- 2 lemons
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 chopped tomato
- 5 cloves garlic
- 1 chopped red pepper
- 1/4 cup of olive oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin powder
- salt, pepper and green-smelling to taste
Method of preparation:
Season the chicken with onions, garlic, peppers and tomatoes and reserve. If you want okra without baba, you should soak it in water with the lemon juice for about 20 to 30 minutes. Take the chicken to braise over medium heat and when it is white, add water to cook. Add salt, pepper and green scent to taste to season. Cut the okra into cubes and after 20 minutes of cooking chicken, add them to the pan and leave to cook for another 20 minutes. Remove from heat and serve still warm.
