Formoterol is the substance found in the inhalation medicine called Foradil, a bronchodilator and antiasthmatic that works by unblocking the airways, improving breathing.
Indications
Bronchial asthma, chronic bronchitis, bronchospasm.
Mode of Use
Aerosol
- Adults and children over 6 years of age: 1 or 2 jets, 2 times a day.
Oral Inhalation Capsules
- Adults: 1 or 2 capsules, 2 times a day.
- Children over 5 years of age: 1 capsule, 2 times a day.
Side effects
Palpitation, headache, tremors.
Contraindications
Pregnancy, breast-feeding, children under 6 years of age (aerosol), children under 5 years of age (oral inhalation capsules).
