How to use Ultiva (Dosage)
Injectable use
Adults
- Induction of general anesthesia: 0.5 to 1mcg / kg per minute. If intubation is anticipated up to 8 minutes after initiation of the infusion, a dose of 1 mcg / kg in 30 to 60 seconds may be administered.
- Maintenance of general anesthesia: 0.05 to 2 mcg / kg of body weight per minute, the dose may be adjusted every 2 to 5 minutes and additionally 1 mcg / kg of body weight may be administered in 30 to 60 seconds.
- Postoperative analgesia : 0.025 and 0.2 mcg / kg body weight per minute.
