Ultiva

Ultiva is an opioid analgesic drug that has as its active ingredient Remifentanil.

This injectable drug is indicated for postoperative anesthesia or maintenance of general anesthesia.

How to use Ultiva (Dosage)

Injectable use

Adults

• Induction of general anesthesia: 0.5 to 1mcg / kg per minute. If intubation is anticipated up to 8 minutes after initiation of the infusion, a dose of 1 mcg / kg in 30 to 60 seconds may be administered.
• Maintenance of general anesthesia: 0.05 to 2 mcg / kg of body weight per minute, the dose may be adjusted every 2 to 5 minutes and additionally 1 mcg / kg of body weight may be administered in 30 to 60 seconds.
• Postoperative analgesia : 0.025 and 0.2 mcg / kg body weight per minute.
