In the development of the baby at 5 months is expected to be able to change the hand toys. It is also expected that the baby with 5 months will already get:
- Roll from side to side;
- Lifting head and shoulders resting on hands;
- Recognize when someone, especially the mother, is angry or afraid;
- Raise your arms to be taken from the crib or to go to the lap;
- Vocalize the consonants D and B;
- Answer when they call you.
The 5-month-old likes to get his or her mouth shut and it's normal to miss people you're not used to and to get the attention of others by shouting and interrupting conversations.
Parents should respect the baby's developmental rhythm and take it to the pediatrician on a regular basis, so he can assess their development and growth.
