Acular is an anti-inflammatory ophthalmic medication that acts to relieve the pain, itching and tearing of the eyes caused by allergic conjunctivitis.
This medicine can also be found in pharmacies under the name Cetrolac and is produced by the Allergan laboratory and requires a doctor's prescription.

Indications
The use of Acular should be indicated in the case of allergic conjunctivitis, causing symptoms such as pain reduction, foreign body sensation in the eyes, burning and tearing of the eyes after refractive surgery of the cornea and sensitivity to light.
Mode of Use
Acular is ophthalmic and should be applied directly to the eye. Its use can be done by adults and adolescents, applying 1 drop in each eye, 4 times a day.
Side effects
Acular can cause poor digestion, gastrointestinal pain, nausea and headache.
Contraindications
The use of this medication is contraindicated during pregnancy, allergy to ketorolac, acetylsalicylic acid, AAS or to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
