Labor can take many hours until the contractions become more frequent and regular and the woman can then go to the hospital. What you can eat in this period while the woman is still at home, and the contractions are still not very regular are light foods such as brown bread, fruit or yogurt, because they facilitate digestion and release energy in a controlled manner.
During labor, it is also recommended to drink plenty of water, as well as satisfying the thirst that is proper to that moment, causes the woman to frequently go to the bathroom, staying active, facilitating the birth of the baby.
