Gigantism is a disease that causes the individual to grow much more than he should. The symptoms of gigantism are:
- Headache,
- Forehead and chin stand out,
- Child very large compared to others,
- Exaggeratedly large hands, feet and fingers,
- Sweating beyond normal,
- Feeling of weakness,
- Have breast milk,
- Delay to enter puberty,
- Irregular menstrual period,
- Difficulties in vision, double vision or lack of peripheral vision.
Gigantism is caused by a deficiency in the gland that secretes the growth hormone making the individual "giant."
