How to use Muscoril
Oral use
Adults and children
- Initiate treatment with Muscoril 4 mg daily and if necessary increase 2 mg every 4 or 6 days until desired effect. The ideal dosage ranges from 12 to 16 mg daily for adults and from 4 to 12 mg daily for children, depending on the age group.
Injectable use
Adults
- Intravenous use : Inject 4 mg of Muscoril daily, for 3 or 4 days. If necessary repeat the procedure the following week.
- Intramuscular injection: Inject Muscoril 8 mg daily for 8 to 10 days.
Children over 12 years
- Intravenous use: Inject 1 mg of Muscoril daily for 3 to 4 days.
- Intramuscular injection: Inject Muscoril 2 mg for 8 to 10 days.
