Aroeira is a medicinal plant, also known as red aroeira, beach aroeira, manioc aroeira or corneíba, that can be used as a home remedy to treat sexually transmitted diseases.

- Baths of aroeira for rheumatism and skin problems: Put 20 g of bark of aroeira in 1 liter of water and let boil for 5 minutes. Strain and bathe with the warm infusion.
