Flebon is a herbal remedy indicated to treat fragility of vessels and swelling in the limbs, helping to prevent traveler's syndrome and complications caused by circulatory problems. However, as it contains a high number of substance antioxidants, it has also been used as a popular medication to prevent and help treat the onset of skin blemishes such as melasma.
This medicine has dry extract of bark of Pinus pinaster, also known as Pinheiro Marítimo, and can be purchased in conventional pharmacies with the need of prescription.

The price of Flebon ranges from 40 to 55 reais, in the form of a package with 30 tablets of 50 mg each.
How to take
The dose of Flebon varies according to the problem to be treated:
- Venous circulatory problems, fragility of the vessels and swelling : 1 tablet of 50 mg, 3 times a day, during 30 to 60 days of treatment.
- Traveler's syndrome : 4 tablets taken 3 hours before shipment, 4 tablets 6 hours after the first dose and 2 tablets the next day.
In the case of melasma, the dose should be directed by a dermatologist, since there are no indications in the package leaflet.
Possible side effects
The most frequent side effects of Flebon are the appearance of discomfort or pain in the stomach.
Who should not take
This medicine is contraindicated for children, pregnant or lactating women, as well as for patients with allergies to the extracts of Pinus pinaster or any of the components of the formula.
