These tanning products can be sold in the form of creams or sprays, there are good self-tanning products of different brands and for all skin types, which can be bought in pharmacies, drugstores or supermarkets.
How to prepare the skin to apply self-tanning
To apply self-tanner correctly and stay with a uniform tan, you should:
- Remove all accessories and jewelry;
- Bathing to eliminate body dirt and makeup residue;
- Dry the skin well with a clean towel;
- Do a body scrub to remove impurities and dead cells.
Before applying the cream, you should wear gloves to avoid getting stained hands and dirty fingernails. If you do not have gloves, you should wash your hands with neutral soap several times during application and rub your fingernails with a brush.
How to use the self-tanner
After putting on the gloves, you should use a small amount of the self-tanner and apply it in circular movements in the following order:

To get tan skin, you should apply the product for at least 2 days in a row, and the color can last between 3 to 7 days.
Care when applying the self-tanner
During the application of self-tanning, the person must have some care so that the end result is a tanned and beautiful skin. Some of the cares include:
- Do not wear clothing for 20 minutes after application and remain naked;
- Do not do exercises that make you sweat up to 4 hours after the application, such as running or cleaning the house, for example;
- Bathing only 8 hours after application of the product;
- Avoid doing hair removal or whitening before self-tanning application. The epilation should be done two days before the skin is not very sensitive;
- Do not apply the product on wet or damp skin .
