In the first three months, the breastfed baby increases about 700-800 g per month and in the following three months increases on average 600-800 g per month, having twice the birth weight. From six months on, the baby gains about 400-600 g per month until 1 year. At this age, it is three times the birth weight.
At birth, the average height of the baby ranges from 49 to 50 cm and at 1 year of age the baby measures about 74-75 cm.
The baby's lower front teeth should appear between the 8th and 9th month of life and the upper front teeth begin to appear between the 8th and 12th month of life.

Development of the baby from 4 to 6 months
The development of the 4-month-old baby is related to the baby being able to:
- Reply with sounds;
- Support your own weight on your legs, but holding onto something or someone;
- Put your hands together and hit the toys;
- Stretch arms to pick up objects;
- Turn around during sleep and when lying down;
- Recognize your own name;
- Put toys in the mouth;
- Sit with support;
- Imitate sounds;
- Roll when lying down;
- Sit without support;
- Start eating solid foods (pasty).

Development of the baby from 7 to 9 months
The development of the baby from 7 to 9 months may include the baby:

- Transfer the objects from one hand to the other;

- Throwing objects to the ground;
- Complain when you are upset;
- Stand for a while but be held by someone;
- Combine syllables;
- Pick up small objects with your thumb and forefinger;
- Recognize your image in the mirror.

Baby development from 10 to 12 months
Baby development from 10 to 12 months includes baby:
- Make gestures like "goodbye" or "no";
- Walk insured to objects;
- Answer by name;
- Understand the word "no".
- Stand alone for a while;

- Placing objects inside others;
- Understand simple commands like "get this toy";
- Speak sounds that sound like words;
