The foods that fight the pain are fish, seeds and dried fruits because they are foods rich in omega 3, which is anti-inflammatory and, by reducing the inflammations, it diminishes the pains. It is also important to have a food made from alkaline foods such as vegetables, vegetables and fruits to help decrease blood acidity and hence inflammation and pain.
What to Eat to Fight Pain
To combat pain it is thus important to eat foods such as:
- sardines, salmon, mackerel, tuna;
- walnuts, almonds, hazelnuts;
- chia seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds;
- cucumber, turnip, onion, cabbage, carrot, lettuce, sprouts, lentil, beet;
- lemon, avocado, sour orange.
To have the anti-inflammatory benefits of omega 3 fish is recommended at least 2 times a week, as usual. On days when the pain is present it is important to make at least one fish meal and enrich that day's food with the foods suggested in the list above.
What not to eat in case of pain
In case of chronic pain, what is not advised to eat are the very sweet and acidifying foods of the blood, such as meat, alcohol, sugar, coffee, salt, bread, pasta and potatoes.
This type of feeding favors the fight against inflammation, facilitating the cure of the disease, reducing the pain, but does not exclude the need for the intake of medicines prescribed by the doctor.
