Camomilina C is an oral medication, indicated to be used from the 4 months of the baby's life, being able to relieve the oral discomfort due to the birth of the first teeth.
The medicine is based on Chamomile and Licorice, two medicinal plants that have sedative and anti-inflammatory properties reducing the discomfort caused by the first dentition and possible gastrointestinal disorders, resulting from this phase, also having ingredients such as vitamin C and vitamin D3.
Indications
Camomilin C serves to relieve the irritability caused by the first dentition and bone mineralization of the teeth.
Mode of Use
Administer the contents of 1 capsule of Camomilina C 2 times a day, being necessary to open each capsule and to mix its content in the yoghurt, fruit, water or milk, ingesting soon after so as not to alter the flavor of the food, nor to lose its properties.
For babies who exclusively breastfeed, it is more appropriate to mix the contents of a capsule in a small amount of water and to gradually offer the baby a syringe without a needle.
The maximum daily dose is 4 capsules per day.
Side effects
When used as directed by a doctor and at the correct dose no side effects are found, however if you take more medicine than indicated in the package insert there may be nausea, vomiting, thirst, excess urine, dehydration, and constipation; the pediatrician should be consulted.
Although drowsiness is not mentioned in the package leaflet, this medicine may make the baby's sleep easier and may ease the baby's sleep, as he or she becomes less bothered by tooth decay.
Contraindications
