This is excellent home remedy to ensure a deep hydration of the foot, eliminating the more dry skin and ending with the cracks that can arise in the heel.
This blend gives extra strength to the moisturizer that is normally used, using ingredients that are easy to find and that some people already have at home.
In addition, as it has sodium bicarbonate, it also prevents the onset of foot infections and mycosis, which can arise due to cracks that facilitate the accumulation of various types of microorganisms.
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons lard (pork or mutton);
- 3 tablespoons of moisturizing cream;
- 1 tablespoon of baking soda.
How to prepare and use
Add the ingredients in a glass jar and mix well until a homogeneous paste is obtained. This mixture can be kept in the glass pot for up to about 1 month, provided it is stored in a cool place and out of direct sunlight.
To use, simply pass this mixture on the feet after bathing, for example, replacing the moisturizer.
Pork lard can be easily found in the butcher's shop, however, it can also be replaced by some kind of moisturizing oil, such as sweet almond oil or glycerin, for example.
