The symptoms of climacterium usually begin around the age of 50 and mark the end of the woman's reproductive phase. The main symptoms of climacterium are sudden hot flashes and lack of sexual desire.

These latter symptoms may be noticed with lesser intensity and they are all related to the lack of hormonal production of the ovaries.
Treatment for climacteric
Treatment for climacteric can be done with hormone replacement therapy, soy-based diet, soy-based herbal remedies such as soy isoflavone or soy lecithin. In addition the psychological support can also be useful at this stage and regular practice of physical exercises.
