Glitisol is an antibacterial drug that has the active substance Tiafenicol.
This oral medication is indicated for the treatment of donovanose, meningitis and typhoid fever. Glitisol changes the mechanism of action of bacteria, leaving them weak and eliminating them from the body.
Glitisol Indications
Cervicovaginitis; pelvic inflammatory disease; typhoid fever; meningitis; donovanose; venereal lymphogranuluma; urethritis; vulvovaginitis; brucellosis; respiratory infections; bacterial vaginosis.
Side Effects of Glitisol
Diarrhea; pyrosis; nausea; vomiting; lack of appetite; Headache; abdominal distension; gray color on the skin; hypothermia.
Contraindications of Glitisol
3 first months of pregnancy; women in the lactation phase; individuals with anuria (total stoppage of urine); history of liver failure.
How to use Glitisol
Oral use
Adults
- Bacterial infection : Administer 500 mg of Glitisol every 8 hours. Do not exceed 3g per day.
Acute gonococcal urethritis
- Man: Administer 2.5g of Glitisol, in a single dose after the meal. If after 48 h secretion persists the dose should be repeated.
- Woman : Give 2.5 g of Glitisol in a single daily dose for 2 days.
